Isothermal Reduction for Composites of Iron Ore Fines and Coal Fines

  • A composite cylindrical column of iron ore fines and coal fines was reduced isothermally at 1 100~1 250℃.The effects of temperature,time and Wcoal/Wore ratio on degree of reduction were studied and suitable additions of coal fines were determined.Activation energy values of the redution at different levels of fracational reaction were calculated with the help of an integration method.The reduction homogeneity of the composite cylindrical column in the radial directions were examined by chemical analysis and SEM observation.
