MESH-A FEM-Preprocessor for PC-based SAP5 Program

MESH module is developed to improve the data preparation of the SAP5 program by using the of the Finite Element Analysis programs based on micro-computer. The 2-d or 3-d node information is generated by using mesh generating. According to the input reguirements of the SAP5 program the information is edited to form a complete input file which can be accepted by SAP5 as well as the drawing data file of mesh generating is generated.
The paper introduces the struction of MESH and the details of mesh generating, man-machine dialogue designs and the drawing of mesh graph.
