Thermodynamic analysis of the technique of reducing rolling scale with solid carbon in closed reduction pot

  • In this paper the unreasonablenss of the technology using solid carbon to reduce rolling scale in the closed pot has been analyzed and discussed according to thermodynamic viewpoint. Also the increase of the unnecessery technological operation, and the lowering of the guality of products,and the raised consumption of raw materials and labour,resulting from the technology and the consequent economic loss have been analyzed and discussed.
